Easter Egg Rolling

EASTER EGG COLORING AND ROLLING !!!
As some of you know my family colors easter eggs every year and then we take all of our eggs and roll them down a hill. One year we rolled them down Nortic Valley Ski resort, another year we were at the beach and made trials in the sand, it always ends up different every year. This is one of my favorite traditions. It may sound stupid but it ends up being more than just rolling boiled eggs. We have different contests like whos egg can go the furthest, whose egg lasts the longest, who can hit a seagull with an egg, ext....
My mom gets into it! This year she bought us each 18 eggs. Now we have 20 people in the family so you can imagine how many eggs we had total, LOTS! We all get into the coloring process, we use everything we can to make the egg look cool! None of them are ever just one color. We have used rubber bands, tape, crayons, markers, sparkles, paint, lots of diff. colors of die to make our eggs unique. It’s a blast and I think the adults enjoy it even more than the kids.
This year we went to the Ogden Parkway and had a picnic. My dad always hides plastic Easter eggs with candy in them and let all the grand children go and find them. After we had the picnic all the kids went and found all the eggs that we hidden. While we were there Tucker decided that he was Hot! Aaron took him down to the river to get a drink and he jumped right in the water. I was shocked that he jump in. When he was a puppy Aaron threw him in a little pond, he is supposed to be a water dog. Well he hated it and has never liked the water after that. So we were surprised when he jumped in. But he enjoyed it!
The kids had a blast playing in the leaves at the park way while waiting for grandpa to hide all the Easter eggs!
After the egg hunt and picnic we all loaded up in the cars a drove to South Ogden Jr. High where there is a big hill to roll our Easter eggs. It was a blast! We had the boys egg race and girls egg race.

I think the seagulls knew we were going to be there, there were tons of them. For the last three years that Aaron and I have been together he has tried to hit a seagull. Well this year he finally did it. The poor bird, he wouldn't come close to the hill after that. But he was fine.
Tucker loved the tradition and had a blast chasing the eggs and birds. After we were done rolling the eggs we left the seagulls to their feast and clean up the eggs at the bottom of the hill.

We all had a blast this year!!!

Before and After !!!

As many of you know Aaron has had a beard on and off threw out our relationship. In fact his beard is what attracted me to him in the first place.

When we meet at the Young Single Adults summer activity Aaron had just broken it off with a girl he had been dating for a couple of months. He had given up on dating for a while and decided he didn't need to shave his face anymore. Well, it kind of bit him in the but, because when I saw him his beard was the first thing I noticed, and I liked it! Its history from there on out.

His family thinks its weird that I like his beard so much, atleast all of the girls do. The guys think its cool that I don't tell him to shave it off, because they would like to not have to shave also.

This last winter Aaron had his beard the longest he has ever had it. I think he didn't shave for 3 months, just trimed it here and there. This is the only picture I had of the beard, it doesn't really do it justice. I really liked it and tried to convince him to keep it until our little girl was born. You see when Aaron was born his dad had a long beard, like Aarons, and we have a cute picture of him as a baby with his dad and his beard. I wanted to get a picture of him with his daughter & his beard, continue the tradition! But Aaron was getting hot during the day with all that hair.

Well last night Aaron took a shower while I went to get some milk and bread from the store. When I got home this is what I saw...

I was shocked! I tried to block him in the bathroom and make him shave the rest of it off. He just picked me up and moved me out of the way while laughing. It was pretty funny, I have to admite. He told me that he would shave it off tonight, so we will see.

That night Aarons brother David and his wife Lacey came over and the first thing they did was laugh, ofcourse. Who could look at that face and be serious. The whole night I would randomly start laughing out loud because he looked so silly.

Lacey told him that he could pull it off and should keep it. I disagreed!!! I told him he looked like a young hill billy and not like the cool guys you see driving around on harley motercycles. He better not listen to Lacey and keep it.

Later that night I took some pictures and he decided that it would look better if he shaved off the bottom lip hair. (I know you were hoping he would have said it would look better if he shaved the WHOLE thing off, but no he keep the mustach) Thats the next picture, hes crazy!

I will let you know how long he keeps it, lets hope he comes to his sences and shaves it off tonight!

Cute Little Girls 3-D Pictures

On Thursday the 12th Aaron and I had one of the coolest experiences ever. We were able to see our little girls face for the first time. We went to the doctors office and they did the 3-D ultrasound. Not only did we see her face but her cute little hands and toes. She is going to be adorable! Everyone thinks that she has her moms lips and nose, but for sure she has her dads toes, the middle toe right next to her big toe is longer than her big toe. Aaron and I were betting on whos toes she would have. (my toe next to my big toe is shorter than my big toe) On the ultrasound we saw her yawn and scrunch her little nose, it was so cute.

It is amazing what technology can do. We were also able to see all four chambers of her heart and the individual valves moving, crazy. We were able to see that all her organs were there and looked normal, and that her brain had all the correct peices and parts. It was so cool!

These are some of the photos we got from that day.

This one is probably my favorite. You can see her toes, hands and face all in the same shot. (I am in love with this little girl already!)

This one I love because you can see her profile and cute little chin!

She had her hand in her mouth for awhile, she was just taking it out when the lady took to picture.

We can't wait till the next 3 1/2 months are passed and we can see the real real little girl in these pictures.

Tucker our Puppy

He loves to play with water bottles.

He has gotten so big! Look at him now!
He has his own personality, he snoores so loud you would think he is a grown man, and he loves to cuddle. He hasbeen a great dog.

In April my bosses dog had 8 puppies, I wanted one so bad. Aaron wasn't all to thrilled about having a dog, but one day I just showed up with him and he fell in love with him to. He is our Tucker!

San Francisco

We rented bikes a road over the goldengate bridge and down into Salslito, that was amazing!

My work R-n-R took all of its employees and their spouses to San Francisco. It was a blast. We had tons of fun, saw dolphins jumping by the goldengate bridge, and had tons of great food.
I can't wait togo back again one day. San Francisco just has a different feel than anywhere else I have ever been.
